The Romeo Community Schools approved a partnership with Washington Township and the Macomb County Sheriff's Office to have an active officer (school liaison officer) for the school district. The resolution was presented by Chris Young, vice-president of the Board of Education for Romeo Schools.  This will make Romeo the second school district in Macomb County to have a school liaison officer.  Washington Township is looking forward to the partnership and to taking a step closer to ensuring the safety of staff and students of Romeo Schools!
