Vending and Solicitor Permits


CURRENT AUTHORIZED VENDORS:

June 3, 2018 thru August 11, 2018

Seventh-Day Adventist Church - Family health and education resources ministry - distribution of religious literature and seeking donations to support their program.

March 1, 2018 thru May 15, 2018

Clean Water Action Group of Michigan (a national environmental organization working for clean and safe water, waste prevention and funding for enforcement of environmental protection) *exempt from standard vendor procedures




Anyone planning to go door-to-door within Washington Township for the purpose of selling a product, or requesting donations, must first apply for a permit through the Clerk's Office.

Any applicant must:

* Complete a vendor application (available at the Clerk's office)
* Possess a current/valid driver's license
* Pay a $5.00 permit fee
* Have a photo taken for a Twp Vendor ID badge

Permits issued include a 5-day soliciting period

Permits can be renewed up to 4 times per calendar year to any one person or representative of a company
