Contractor Registration

Contractor registration for Sewer and/or Water installation in Washington Township
expire on March 31 annually.

 To register or re-register,  the following are required:

  •   $5,000.00 SURETY BOND
specifying “WATER, SEWER & SUMP EXCAVATION IN WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP”

  • INSURANCE CERTIFICATES
$1,000,000 minimum general liability, auto liability & $500,000 min. worker's comp, etc. 
 Required language for Additional Insureds to read as follows:
“It is understood and agreed that the following shall be Additional Insureds:    The Charter Township of Washington, including all elected and appointed officials, all employees and volunteers, all boards, commissions, and/or authorities and their board members, employees, and volunteers, and the Township’s Consulting Engineers”

  • $25.00 Registration Fee by cash or check only
  • Signed "Contractor Application" (this is available in "DPW Forms")

 You may register by mail.  Just send all required documents to Charter Township of Washington, Dept. of Public Works, 57900 Van Dyke, Washington, MI 48094.  Your receipt will be sent by return mail. 

 If you register in person, we are located at the Charter Township of Washington Municipal Hall located at 57900 Van Dyke, Washington, MI 48094.
