The cost Washington Township pays for actual water consumption is based on the three factors: our peak hour usage, our max day usage, and our pressure demands. Detroit Water and Sewerage Department reviews these factors annually to determine our rates.
Compliance with the Washington Township mandatory watering restrictions in the summer, helps us to avoid Detroit Water and Sewerage Department rate increases due to WHEN we use the water.
